Quick Start Guide: Get Your Plant Availability List Online |

| This web site can best be described as a "smart availability list" service for growers and suppliers of plant material. If you need to regularly update and publicize your availability list but wished there was a better way to do so, you've just found the better way. By signing up for an account, you can quickly publish your plant material for sale in multiple places at once and target it to different types of buyers. This service provides not only a public availability list in which your plants are published in our large alphabetical list organized by latin name, but also your own private availability list in which only your plants are published. The public availability list allows new customers to find your plants and easily send you a request for quote [RFQ], whereas your private availability list can be sent to your existing customers to keep them updated while also preventing them from browsing over to a competitor's list. Your private availability list can be linked to from your web site, the signature file in your emails, in your blog, business card, mailings, etc.
By Fall 2009 we expect to offer a third option, called an embedded availability list, which will allow you to copy and paste a small bit of custom code into your own web page, resulting in an availability list integrated into your own web site, RFQ service and all. We are truly excited about this newest option, and it will be included in your annual subscription fee [once we actually start charging subscribers]. |
