The Pindo Palm is a welcome and distinctive addition to both tropical and desert landscapes. Its graceful form and arching blue-green fronds make it excellent for pool-side plantings, as well as for container use. Hardy to 15 degrees, The Pindo Palm is tolerant of the hot, dry conditions in the high or low deserts with ample water, but is at its best in the more moderate Southern California climates. It makes moderately slow growth to an eventual trunk height of 15 feet. Low maintenance is an additional plus for this unique palm.

Chamaerops Humilis (Mediterranean Fan Palm) (Show 1 Plant Options)
The Mediterranean Fan Palm is one of the most successful palms for general use in landscaping under a wide range of conditions. Its broad spread, multiple trunks, and dark green foliage make it an excellent choice as an accent tree. Extremely hardy to 6 degrees, it also does well in hot, dry desert regions. The Mediterranean Fan Palm is a relatively slow growing palm, reaching a height and canopy spread of twenty feet at a rate of six inches per year with feeding and good drainage.

Olea Europa "Wilsonii" (Fruitless Olive) (Show 2 Plant Options)
This fruitless variety of olive was discovered in a grove of Manzanillo olives in 1979. The Wilsonii is a clean and well-shaped tree that does not produce fruit and therefore eliminates messy fruit drop. The Wilsonii makes a slow to moderate growth rate, and mature specimens provide a canopy 25 feet high and 25 feet in diameter. These beautiful, dusty green trees are adaptable to a wide range of climates and are hardy to 15 degrees. Thornless, pest free, drought tolerant, and long-lived--the evergreen Wilsonii makes sense for its beauty and practicality.

Phoenix Roebelenii (Pygmy Date Palm) (Show 3 Plant Options)
The Pygmy Date Palm is one of the most widely used date palms in the U.S., selected for use where a tropical effect is desired, both indoors and out. It performs best in the coastal areas of California, although it is also found in the low deserts with some measure of effectiveness.
